RSS activist killed in Kerala’s Guruvayur

An RSS activist was hacked to death at Guruvayur on Sunday noon. The deceased has been identified as Nenmini Anand (28), who was the second accused in the murder of DYFI activist Faizal in November 2013. The BJP has called a hartal on Monday in Guruvayur and Manaloor assembly segments to protest against the murder.

According to preliminary reports, Anand who was riding a bike was first knocked down by a car near the Nenmini Balaraman temple.

The assailants, who were in a car, then hacked Anand to death. The assailants had to abandon the car at the spot as the road ahead was narrow and they feared the possibility of local residents gathering at the spot. They escaped in a bike after pushing down its rider.
